Native to the eastern tropical forests of Tanzania and Kenya
African Violets are beloved for their compact size, velvety leaves, and vibrant, year-round blooms. They’ve been a symbol of nurturing care and affection for generations and are often passed down as treasured heirloom plants, making them a great gift for housewarmings, celebrations, or just because.
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Too much direct sunlight can scorch the leaves, while too little light reduces blooming.
Water: Water when the top of the soil feels dry. Use room-temperature water and avoid getting the leaves wet to prevent spotting.
Additional Tips:
Bottom-watering is ideal to keep leaves dry and healthy.
Fertilize lightly every 4–6 weeks with a fertilizer formulated specifically for African Violets.
They bloom best when slightly root-bound—no need to rush repotting!
Rotate the plant occasionally to promote even growth.
To ensure your flowers are as fresh and beautiful as possible, occasional substitutions of stems or vases may be required. Rest assured, we will do our best to match the style of the original design, keeping the overall look, feel, and value you selected.
